When your administrator adds you to an Agatabo organization, you receive an invitation email containing a unique activation link. Clicking that link takes you to a one-time setup page where you create your password and gain immediate access to the platform. The whole process takes less than two minutes — follow the steps below to complete it.

Activate Your Account

1

Open your invitation email

Look for an email from Agatabo with the subject line containing your organization’s name and an invitation to join. If you do not see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
2

Click the activation link

Select the Activate Account button (or copy and paste the full URL into your browser). You will be taken to the Agatabo account setup page.
3

Create a strong password

Enter a new password that meets all of the following requirements:
  • At least 8 characters long
  • At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
  • At least one lowercase letter (a–z)
  • At least one number (0–9)
4

Confirm your password

Re-type the same password in the confirmation field to make sure there are no typos.
5

Click 'Activate Account'

Submit the form. Agatabo logs you in automatically and redirects you to the main dashboard — no separate sign-in step required.
Your activation link expires 72 hours (3 days) after it is sent. If the link has expired before you use it, ask your administrator to resend the invitation from the Organization Users page.

What You See After Logging In

Your first view is the Dashboard — a real-time overview of your organization’s financial health. Exactly what appears on screen depends on the role your administrator assigned to you.
As a member you see a personal view of your finances:
  • Your current savings balance
  • Any active loans and their outstanding balances
  • Your personal transaction history
  • Notifications relevant to your account
You will not see other members’ data, organization-wide reports, or administrative settings.
1

Update your profile (optional)

Click your avatar in the top-right corner, select Profile, and add a phone number, photo, or any other personal details you want to keep on file.
2

Get familiar with the interface

Browse the sidebar to see which sections are available to you. The Understanding Navigation guide explains what each section contains.
3

Complete your first task

Depending on your role, your next step might be inviting members, recording a deposit, or reviewing the loan portfolio. See the Quick Start Guide for role-specific guidance.
4

Bookmark Agatabo

Save the Agatabo URL in your browser so you can return quickly each day.

Common Login Issues

Agatabo enforces a minimum password policy. If you see the error “Password must contain at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and number,” try a password that combines all four elements.Example of a valid password: Savings2024 Examples that will be rejected: password (no uppercase or number), SAVINGS24 (no lowercase), 12345678 (no letters)
This message means your email address is already linked to an Agatabo account — either from a previous activation or a duplicate invitation.Fix: Go to the Agatabo login page and sign in with your email. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password to request a reset link. If the problem persists after a reset, contact your administrator to check for duplicate invitations.
After activating your account, you use the standard login page (not the activation link) for all future sign-ins.Things to check:
  • Confirm you are using the same email address that received the invitation
  • Check that Caps Lock is off and retype your password carefully
  • Use Forgot Password on the login page if you are unsure of your password
If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact your administrator.
Use a unique password for Agatabo — one you do not reuse on other sites. If you ever need to change it, go to Settings → Profile → Change Password. Always log out when you finish a session on a shared or public computer.
